About Indigo Designs...

At Indigo Designs, we craft heirloom-quality furniture and home goods that transform spaces through intentional design and natural beauty. Every piece begins with sustainably sourced hardwood—often rescued or locally harvested—and is shaped by hand to preserve the organic character of the material. We seamlessly blend these elements with modern forms and rich finishes, including custom-poured epoxy, to create objects that feel both grounded and refined. Every item is thoughtfully crafted with its future home in mind, tailored to complement each client’s aesthetic and the energy of the space it will inhabit. From the initial concept to the final coat of finish, our process is slow, deliberate, and driven by a deep respect for craft. The result is work that doesn’t just fill a space—it elevates it, inviting presence, warmth, and a sense of timeless artistry.

Founded by designer and craftsman Hunter Chesnutt-Perry, Indigo Designs was born from a deep appreciation for natural materials and a belief that exceptional design begins with intention. Hunter earned his degree in Architecture with honors from the University of Colorado Boulder, where he cultivated his passion for form, function, and sustainable practices. After launching in Colorado and later relocating to St. Louis, he has continued to build Indigo Designs as a studio committed to timeless craftsmanship and meaningful design.

Whether it's a one-of-a-kind statement piece or a thoughtfully designed home good, each item from Indigo Designs is made to bring beauty, purpose, and presence into the spaces we inhabit.
